What is a picture-tube, actually nothing more than a small item
that has been saved to be used in another PSP project.
As an example I give you the snowglobes in which you can use
several picture-tubes.
All moving parts used in globes like drops, flowers or snow
ar a tubes.
I will now explain you how you can make a tube yourself.
You can use the following picture to make a picture-tube:



Click with your right mousebutton on the picture and click on
'Save image as' and save it.
Now open your PSP and open the picture you want to edit.
Open a new image 100/100 on a transparant background.
Put the selection tool on the following settings and draw a circle
like you can see in the image below:




Click on Edit and afterwards on Copy, click on the empty image and
click again on Edit, afterwards on Past, choose As a new selection
and put the part you have just copied in the centre, see the example:



Did it work?
Now you choose Selections and then Select None;
the dotted line has disappeared.
Now we are going to erase some. click on the magnifying glass and
click 2x on the image so it's going to be clearly visible.
Now click on the eraser and erase everything, except the part
you want to have.
To check if everything is really clean you click on the magic wand tool
and click once with the magic wand on the image.
Now you will see there will appear a dotted line around everything
that is still in the image.
Now you can check if it's really as clean, are there dotted lines on
unwanted areas than click on undo; the dotted line will disappear
and you can continue erasing.
Continue doing this until only the part that you wanted is surrounded
by the dotted line.



Now you click on Layers, Merge and then Merge Visible.
Now all the layers have merged and we can save the image as
picture-tube.
Click on File and then Export. You will see the following screen.
Click on the word that's pointed out and second image is shown as a
screen.
Put everything on the correct settings and typ the name you want
to give to the tube in the area that is pointed out for it.
Then click on OK.

Now you have made a picture-tube of one image.
If you want to add more pictures like shown below, then you have to
change the settings:




The Cells have to be adjust to the number of images and every image
you have to past seperately in a transparantsheet you have to adjust
on the number of images you want to add.
So: 1 image = 100/100, but 4 images is 200/200, and you have to
divide them over the image.
